Visitors are welcome

The Aylsham Manor has an open door policy and unrestricted visiting times for visitors. Families and friends play an important part in helping their loved ones to settle into their new life and are invited to join in the daily life and events when they can. Whilst mealtimes are usually respected as times for non visiting, we welcome requests from families and special friends to join their loved one at a meal, providing we have notice.
The main mealtimes are:
Breakfast: 8.00 -10.30 am
Lunch: 12.45 - 13.45pm
Supper: 17.30 - 18.30pm
Events Days
Special events throughout the year are organised to bring the residents and their families together with the wider community. These include the Annual Summer Garden Party, the Christmas Panto/Party (organised by the staff), The Womens World Day of Prayer Service in March, The MacMillan Nurses Coffee Morning, and The Easter Bonnet Staff Sing a Long, and professional concerts and events. As well as these in -house events, we aim to take residents out to the theatre and on trips and families are welcome to join us.
A very special event last year was a “Restaurant” experience for residents and their families one evening- the meal was a 3 course menu cooked by a visiting chef, and waitress served by his wife and daughter!
